INTERPRETIVE CENTER HOURS

Daily 9:00am – 5:00pm

PLEASE NOTE: Programs are free of charge (except as noted) and open to the public after paying the park admission fee. All
programs begin promptly at scheduled times.
PROGRAM LOCATIONS: VC – Visitor Center VCP – Visitor Center Porch
For CAMPGROUND programs, the public can park at the campground entrance and walk up.

Geocache Weekend Events

 

Registration is required by posting “will attend” on www.geocaching.com,  or by calling Mounds State Park at (765) 649-8128 to sign-up.

Friday, March 19th Participants who wish to camp can check-in at anytime (call ahead for reservations.)

6:00pm – Stone Soup Supper at Woodland Shelter (bring favorite soup ingredient)
8:00pm – Meet and Greet in campground.
 

Saturday, March 20th

9:00am-10:00am – Registration at the Visitor Center

10:00am – Geocache Event Begins
12:00pm – Pitch-in Lunch at Woodland Shelter (or bring your own sack lunch)

1:32pm – Flashmob at the Great Mounds for the Spring Equinox observance

3:00pm – Meet back at Visitor Center for prizes and awards

4:00pm – Free time / on your own for supper

7:30pm – Night Caching to begin at the Great Mound

10:00am – Pitch-in Breakfast at Woodland Shelter
